Here are a couple of recommendations for Nakation vacations this summer. These clubs are members of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and offer clothes-free recreation in wholesome naturist environments.
BARE MOUNTAIN RETREAT
Bare Mountain is located on 130 private acres just 30 minutes from Boise, Idaho in a beautiful rustic setting with the friendliest folks you’ll find anywhere. The retreat is open from late April to mid-October. Summer days on the mountain are usually sunny and between 75° and 95° while nighttime lows dip to the 50’s and 60’s. Perfect for naturism. Bare Mountain was founded in 1981 and has been in continuous operation ever since.
When you experience Bare Mountain this summer, you’ll awaken to the sounds of birds in the trees. Enjoy an early morning hike on miles of trails, taking you to the top of Bare Mountain for the most beautiful and scenic vistas in the nudiverse. Frolic in the new pool for water volleyball, stay for dinner and nighttime laughs around the campfire, then fall asleep to the soft breezes in the Ponderosa Pines. There’s also a calendar of events that add to the enjoyment.
Bare Mountain is a rustic camp. There is no potable running water so guests must bring drinking water or other beverages. They can also purchase water and snacks in the Clubhouse. Running water on the grounds can be used for cooking and cleanup. There’s also a community kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, two stoves, refrigerator and two BBQ grills. Outdoor showers and limited Wi-Fi too. Accommodations include cabins, and lots for tents. Day Visitors are also welcome to enjoy Bare Mountain from 9am to 9pm.

SUN RIDGE RESORT
Billed as “New England’s Premier Nudist Resort,” Sun Ridge is located in sunny Sterling, Connecticut, a short drive from most major New England cities. As the sun shines over the 42-acre property, there are a wide variety of activities and events to suit all personalities. Relax by the crystal-clear pool and hot tub; visit the Pavilion for a game of billiards; watch a game on the widescreen TV or explore the grounds with its winding trails and lovely wildlife.
