Hi Travelers,

There are two great resorts affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation in Arizona I’d like to introduce you to today.  Shangri La Ranch is a family-friendly clothing optional resort set amid tranquil desert surroundings and whose playful slogan is “Wear Less Is More.”  Get it?

Shangri La emphasizes the freedom of choice. You select the activity that suits you from quiet relaxation in the hot tub, sauna or on the pool deck, to swimming, volleyball, water volleyball, pickleball, tennis, basketball, horseshoes or hiking trails. A clubhouse, children's playground and laundry are available. The pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature year round.  Note that no bathing suits are allowed in the pool, hot tub, or sauna.

The clubhouse features a large fireplace, dance floor, tables and chairs for indoor dining, card games and other social gatherings. In the adjacent conference room contains a library of books and games for guest enjoyment. There is a large screen TV with DVD and VCR to enjoy a collection of movies, or bring your own. Soda vending machines are located near the clubhouse for your convenience. Shangri La is a B.Y.O.B. resort, no alcohol is for sale on the premises, though the Bare Buns Café is open weekends, starting with the Friday night fish fry and Saturday/Sunday breakfast and lunch.

A Calendar of Events keeps guests entertained throughout the year with activities ranging from water aerobics to billiards, themed dances, karaoke, potlucks, holiday fun and more.  Accommodations include guestrooms as well as over 110 camping sites, from dry camping to full hook-up RV sites.

To learn more or for reservations visit www.shangrilaranch.com.  The ranch is located at 44444 N. Shangri La Lane, New River, AZ 85087, ph: 623-465-5959.

Mira Vista Resort is “Your Premier Clothing Optional Resort in Tucson, Arizona.”  Since opening in the 1850s, the property that is now Mira Vista Resort has been a haven for respite and renewal.  Because the current site of Mira Vista had a well in the 1860’s and 1870’s, it was a popular stopping point for early Western travelers, miners, rustlers, notorious outlaws and even Geronimo. During the 1930s, the era of the modern dude ranch, the property was named Saguaro Vista Guest Ranch. Because many of the old Westerns were filmed nearby, many Hollywood legends such as John Wayne, Greta Garbo, Cary Grant, and Katharine Hepburn lodged here. Twelve of the original suites built at the time still stand today and have been updated for Mira Vista’s guests. And the original well is now the Jacuzzi. Opened in May 2006, Mira Vista Resort is a new and exciting chapter in a history rich in legends and glamour, but most importantly, a history of continued renewal, as a clothing optional resort.

Mira Vista Resort features an elegant main building, 4 pools and spas, full-service restaurant, cozy cantina bar, clubhouse/lounge with full bar, recreation and conference room, fully equipped fitness center,  4 pickleball courts, massage, great activities/events year round and lots of fun times. Access to the resort and all its amenities is available with daily fee or Club membership.

The fourteen guest suites and rooms at Mira Vista are located in several charming, historic Southwest adobe buildings. Almost no two are alike. Several of the privately-owned Casa condos at Mira Vista are available to rent through Mira Vista Resort. These luxury units are individually furnished and decorated.  There are also RV site rentals available too.
