As of September 2026, the most straightforward way to fly from the San Juan metro area to Culebra is out of Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport, better known as Isla Grande (airport code SIG). It sits on the water near Old San Juan and the Convention District, which means you can be in a taxi or rideshare and arrive without committing your whole day to “getting to the ferry.”
In current September 2026 timetables, both Air Flamenco and Vieques Air Link show nonstop SIG to Culebra (CPX) service with an approximate 30-minute flight time.
