European groups are moving in parallel. Lufthansa Group has expanded its climate-related product portfolio to give passengers and corporate customers the option to fund SAF use and other climate projects with their bookings, while Ryanair has signed letters of intent with energy suppliers to secure SAF volumes at key airports. Corporate climate commitments are reinforcing airlines’ focus on fuel efficiency and cleaner fuels.
